Project Overview
For several years, the marketing team had worked with a Wisconsin Pizza Hut restaurant franchisee, providing marketing and design services for more than 150 locations. We worked to build local fundraising initiatives, unique digital and printed product promotional material, as well as managed grand opening events that would touch roughly half of the state’s Pizza Hut locations.
New Openings / Remodeling Campaigns
HMG worked with the franchisee to help announce multiple new restaurant opening events and advertise several restaurant remodels. These events were promoted through a wide range of media including: printed flyers, email marketing, door hangers, posters, banners, and in-store signage. The marketing team also supported the events with coordinating product tastings and giveaways, restaurant decorations, banners, and more.
Product Promotions
Our marketing team developed several product-focused campaigns to promote new, innovated products, highlight specific daypart specials, and more. These promotions were often advertised through digital and traditional media, store window graphics, email marketings, social media content, door hangers initiatives, and flyer distribution. Getting the word out and enticing customers was paramount to the success of new or special promotions.
Local Advertising
Many different campaigns, whether for product promotions, event specials, or staff employment, relied on local advertising. These local elements included digital billboards, newspaper ads, mailed postcards, printed booklets, store window graphics, customer email promotions, geo-targeted social media content, and door-to-door flyers distribution.
One of the campaign initiatives included promoting to local businesses surrounding the restaurants where managers provided printed booklets of product offerings and specials specific to group lunches and event catering. Another campaign was to promote school districts to purchase Pizza Hut for the school lunches. This promotion included mailing postcards to school boards, school food directors, and principals with nutritional information and purchasing options.
